Release of Komment™ 2.4

Summer release of Komment™

Just before the summer holidays we released a new version of Komment™ which contains some very useful enhancements. As you can see from the below, version 2.4 introduces new features that make the life easier both for the end user, the Qlik developer and the Qlik admins.

Dropdown widget

• Now users can make a free text search across the values defined by the developer
• Now users can add new values and select those in case they are not part of the current value set

Notification widget [NEW]

• A menu that allows users to save data that can be used for sending notification to other users
• Initially rely on the use of custom Qlik scripting or SQL triggers – end to end notification option to come later
• Automatically saves the URL of the current sheet in the Qlik Sense app for easy access for notified user

Admin options and permissions

• Enable admins to disable QVD storage for all developers
• Allow for read/write permissions rules to be set at widget level

Kaptain admin module

• Addition of user management and permission settings
• Possibility to select more Granules to be able to delete multiple at the same time
• Be able to sort Kapsules and Granules on each column shown
• Access to event log for the Kaptain service

Remember that Komment™ is still working with any Qlik Sense license types. Still working on Qlik SaaS editions. And still the best performing writeback solution on the market!
