Release of Komment™ 2.0

Massive update to our Writeback extension

Komment 2.0 is without a doubt the most extensive release we have ever made. You can now add writeback functionality to your Qlik Sense app in less than five minutes and basically no scripting or advanced coding is needed. Komment is handling all that for you so. Easy and quick setup

When we say easy and quick, we actually mean it. Whether you are a developer or business user, the process of going from zero to fully functioning data editing directly in your Qlik Sense apps takes less than five minutes. And if you don't believe us just watch this video:

So, we didn't exaggerate, right? Even though we have made the setup process so easy, Komment is still highly configurable and can be adapted to many different use cases. We have now also given you the possibility to select whether you want to save users' comments in one single QVD or separate QVDs. There are benefits to both options but now we have given you the final choice.

New end user features

With Komment 2.0 we are giving you a new and streamlined UI to use Komment in. Most notable you can now use Komment in three different modes:

• Table: Inline data entry right where your data is
• Form: Form for all data entries
• Popup: Free up space on your sheets. The Komment object will be visible to the user as a floating button

Unlike other writeback solution these three modes are all part of one and the same extension. It is pretty hard not to be very excited about this. In particular the inline data entry functionality has been highly anticipated. See for yourself in this video how great it is:
