If you are reading this article chances are that you currently in one of the below situations:
If you have less than 5-10 new leads or customers per day both of the above approaches are definitely the most cost efficient way of handling your customer relations. If you have more than 10 leads coming in each day you would benefit from setting up some automated solutions. However, if you are in the first category or you have clients who are, then you should read a long.
The problem you probably face is that you never put the valuable customer data into use. The reason is simple - CRM systems are not built for data analysis. That means that you probably export your CRM data into other tools like Excel or (hopefully) Qlik Sense for further analysis. This makes perfect sense as Qlik is second to none when it comes to sorting, filtering and analyzing your data on the fly. The issue is naturally that you now have data in multiple places and to make sure you always look at the latest data you need to switch between systems.
The old answer to this question was that you don't have the ability to change or add data directly in Qlik Sense. With the writeback capabilities of our Komment extension this answer is no longer valid. So building a CRM application in Qlik Sense is now possible and it comes with many benefits
Below is an example of how easy it is to add new leads to your CRM app. As you can see the other charts in the app reflects the new data right away. However, you many several options as to how you want to setup your data flow as Komment is as flexible as Qlik Sense:
As mentioned above there are several benefits to using Qlik Sense and Komment as your CRM system. The one we will focus on in this last section is the out of the box audit trail. This gives you a full overview of who did what at what time in relation to which customer. With this you are able to easily see the full communication history with your leads making it easy to follow-up with the relevant information at the right time.
The above example is naturally only one way of setting up a CRM system in Qlik Sense. When you use Komment™ you are not locked into a specific framework or functionality. You can use it in many different ways and adjust it to fit your purpose - just like you can with Qlik Sense!
And lastly it is important to remember that Komment™ works on all editions of Qlik Sense. Even in Qlik Sense SaaS editions. Further, it also works for all user types. So if you have a setup with a lot of Analyzer/Analyzer Capacity users don't sweat a tear. With Komment™ they can do writeback as well.
